Schwartz Geosynthetics is a leading distributor and installer of Geosynthetics solutions and flexible structures in Africa. In the year 2020, Schwartz extended service footprint to the Caribbean nations with an office in the Corporative Republic of Guyana.
Schwartz long years of experience working with Geosynthetics products in Africa brought home the conscious awareness that current Geosynthetics solutions in the marketplace fall short of the UV Stability requirements for the tropical environment, necessitating the need for local manufacturing to take advantage of abundance of local raw materials and Government incentives.The low UV stability threshold of foreign made Geosynthetics make them unsuitable for the African environment.

In 2022, Schwartz began in-house design of Geosynthetics products with reputable contract manufacturers to produce Geosynthetics products that are more suitable for the local environment. Schwartz Geosynthetics products; SKE Geotextiles, SKE Geomembrane, SKE Geogrids, SKE geotubes, SKE Geocomposites and SKE Defencells for defense operations are designed with enhanced UV stability appropriate for the tropics, making SKE products the ideal geosynthetics solution for Africa and the Caribbean.
Schwartz HDPE Gabions and Gabion mattresses are made of highest quality polyethylene/polypropylene raisins and designed to a tensile strength of 550MPA, which is higher than the 350-550MPA of steel Gabions.

SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF various grades of geotextiles - Wovens, NonWovens and Geocomposites for soil stabilization, soil separation and soil filtration, soil erosion control for road construction and road embankment protection works Schwartz Geosynthetics solutions encompass the supply and installation of Geo cells, geotubes and Geogrids GravityWalls earth retaining structure for road embankment protection and slope stabilization. Supply of flexible structures for soil erosion control, shore protection works and slope stabilization as well as the supply and installation of HDPE liners for storm water management, irrigation canal lining, waste containment, landfills, artificial ponds, tank lining, bund walls and groundwater control.
